This is the Lipetsk Regional Museum of Local History. We are section dedicated the history of the War, where you can see Mauser pistol and saber of the Major-General N. N. Velikolepov, with which he took part in the legendary parade on Red Square on June 24, 1945.

There is the exposition Lipetsk Region during the Great Patriotic War is dedicated to our fellow countrymen who participated in the War. In this hall, visitor can see documents, weapons, photographs, maps of War. More exhibits were donated to the museum by residents of the Lipetsk region and veterans.

This is the Victory park in Lipetsk was founded in 1975 in honor 30 of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).

The sculpture decicts a liberating warrior returning home from the war symbolizes the peace that has come.
Another museum that Victory Park is famous for. This is the open—air museum of military equipment. It was founded in honor 50 of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).
There is the legendary Sorokopyatka and the patrol boat, which took part in the Vizsla-Oder operation during the war, and came Berlin, found their places of honor here.

Look, it’s a monument to the Tankers. The monument was built in honor of the formation of the 1st Tank Corps in Lipetsk in the spring of 1942 under the command of Major-General M.E. Katukov. It is a symbol of victory way from Lipetsk to Berlin. This monument was built in 1978 year in winter.

Look, we are near the largest monument in our city. The memorial high is 19 meters. Under it is a eternal flame. The eternal flame has words: «Here buried the lichens. They died in the Great Patriotic War because they fight freedom and independence».

The chapel will be opened on May 6, St. George's Day, in honor 80 of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) and the entrance will be free.
